I agree with you Amy. Given the circumstances of our earth right now, I think we're in no position, as a society, to start anything like this right now. Our resources need to be put to use on earth, not for a recreational venture out into space. Why waste resources on something which is of way less importance than the problems on Earth? We need to focus on Earth for now; resources need to be put to use in order or priority, not in order of recreation.

Exactly! There are so many organizations out there that are actually trying to help families with low income, but the thing is, they are not getting fund to do so, they are just doing it simply cause they want people to have a better life. So there is no reason for any one to ignore these people and continue doing what they want ( like commercializing space travel ). I mean can't people see that things are getting out of control? our resources are limited, mother nature honestly does not have a lot to offer, once there's no more, it will be too late to regret. Everything involves money these days, so we really have to watch what we are doing with money. Like what you said Taylor, wouldn't it be great if we use our resources on earth, not for a recreational venture out into space.
