the human body is truly amazing on how it works, in the excerpt is shows some facts about the nervous system. it says that the signals that travel from your spinal cord to a motor neuron move at 268 miles per hours which is extremely fast ( it is considered the fastest transmission in the human body). also states that our sensory receptors which contain a mylin sheath is considered the slowest transmission at only 1 mile per hour.
the human body contain about 100000 miles of myelin sheath which protects of nerve fibers.
the human body also contains about 100 trillion neural connections/ synapesis in our brain. scientists did a comparison which states that it is at least 1000 times greater then the number of stars in the galaxy.
2 billion nerve endings in the outermost layer of our skin sense pain, those dedicated to temperature allow us to detect differences as small as 0.01 degree Fahrenheit.
its truly amazing on how complex the human body is and how much people dont know on how our body works and whats involved with the human system

I learned in bio 30 that mylinated neurons travel fast! im pretty sure this is wrong what you have. mylinated neurons can travel upto 120 miles per hour. come on roookiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Sleep

it is pretty interesting though man. that comparison to the stars is pretty amazing i'd say. Thats what wow'ed me most about this post, also the part where you messed up Laughing
